Beetle Brooch is handcrafted from 18ct white gold, 22ct yellow gold, titanium, black rhodium and two onyx gemstones. An extraordinary example of craftsmanship, Leane’s exquisite arthropod is inspired by his past training in restoring Art Nouveau masterpieces.  His Beetle Brooch has a bejewelled body of 18ct white gold, fastening discreetly from the back, its head and legs richly coated in black rhodium, the legs set en tremblant to articulate a subtle movement. Beautifully formed wing cases, handcrafted from 22ct yellow gold, evoke a shimmering appendage. Its silken eyes are two deeply-coloured cabochon onyx gemstones that resonate with nocturnal vision. Replicating the organic movement of the Ground Beetle, Leane’s golden beetle is a curious treasure.
